Our Parent Forum plays a vital role in all aspects of school life. The values that express our Forum are; Inclusiveness to all, a want to bring families together and the gifts that each person brings to the school. These values show a Family in Christ.
Our Parent Forum team is made up of 4 parents (1 from each Learning Stage), Early stage 1 (Kinder), Stage 1 (Year 1 & 2), Stage 2 (Year 3 & 4) and Stage 3 (Year 5 & 6). Parents are encouraged to facilitate parental involvement and engagement, communicate with their stage parents, enhance parent social activities and liaise with our Principal and Assistant Principal whereby they can represent the views of the parents.
At St James, we also gather to fundraise for the wellbeing and learning needs of our beautiful students. These include a School Fete, Easter Raffle, Mother’s Day/Father’s Day stalls/Breakfasts and many more activities which connects parents with the school and helps build community.
